044. FASHION CULTURE

11 lutego w Pałacu w Wilanowie odbyło się Fashion Culture, pierwszy polsko-brytyjski projekt, mający na celu propagowanie sztuki poprzez modę, wzajemne inspiracje oraz promowanie młodych talentów. Mogliśmy zobaczyć wschodzące gwiazdy z najlepszych polskich jak i brytyjskich uczelni, takich jak ASP w Łodzi (Aga Pou, Monika Błażusiak), MSKPU  w Warszawie (Dominika Piekutowska-Swed, Kamila Gawrońska-Kasperska), SAPU w Krakowie (Agnieszka Kowalska, Monika Jaworska), Central Saint Martins, London Collage of Fashion oraz University of the Arts London (Susana Bettencourt, Liz Black, Susannah Gardner, Nova Chui, Gil Kazenstein, Roydhei Kawanishi). Niektórzy z nich postawili na ubrania bardziej ready-to-wear, niektórzy na awangardę i chociaż nie wszystko przypadło mi do gustu, każdą kolekcję oglądałam z ciekawością!

11th february in Warsaw took place Fashion Culture, first polish-british event designed to promote art through fashion, inspirate each other and advertise young, talented designers. We were able to see  rising stars from best polish and british collages (look up at polish version, it's just names). Some of them did more ready-to-wear, some more fancy, but though not everything appealed to me, I was watching every collection with curiosity!

7. MONIKA BAŁŻUSIAK: These leather jacets are killing me but the one made from stripes is just amazing! I love everything apart of the leather dress (kind of trashy).

 So that's it, but the best part was... a collaboration between Olga Szymkarczuk (clothes), Kasia Piechocka (jewelry), Kamila Siemiątkowska (body painting) and Justyna Mysior (styling)! It looked wonderfully spectacular, with choreography and music.
